Photos from Unity Festival @ Graffiti Gallery July 20, 2013

We had a great time at the Winnipeg Unity Cypher, in collaboration with Unity Charity. AYO! along with Graffiti Gallery participated in an all styles dance battle that saw some of the best and brightest in Winnipeg’s Hip Hop scene compete for the title of Winnipeg Champ. It was a great night where AYO’s own MC got to share some words inviting the crowd to get involved in making their community safer with Meet Me @ the Bell Tower & Water Wednesdays!

GARBAGE BAG CHALLENGE!! (Protecting Mother Earth)

NEON wants you to pick up garbage ion your neighbourhood to help protect mother earth!

NEON wants you to pick up garbage ion your neighbourhood to help protect mother earth!

Do you have an extra plastic bag kicking around the house some place? Maybe you even see them blowing down the back lane? well let me tell you that Garbage bag is a trick to helping protect mother earth and keep our communities clean.

STEP 1: Put that plastic bag in your pocket

Seriously, put it in your pocket before you leave the house and that way you will have it when you need it.

STEP 2: Fill up that garbage bag

And do not forget to send a picture of the full garbage bag to @AYOmovement on twitter to have your name entered in to win a prize! You could also put it on our facebook wall to have your name entered!

STEP 3: Throw out the garbage & wash your hands

you were just picking upgarbage, and although its awesome that you are doing your part to protect mother earth, your hands probably got dirty. Remember to throw garbage only in appropriate places and recycle, recycle, recyle! Also remember to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds after touching any strange surfaces, and never pick up needles or other dangerous items (used condoms, live electric wires etc….check out HELPFUL INFO if you have any questions)

AND….GO!

And off to the races, let us see how many people want to participate in this exciting event and stay tuned to our website www.AYOmovement.com to check out what awesome prizes you will be entered to win!

Good luck & Thank you for helping!
