Meet Me at the Bell Tower invites Winnipeg and the world to shine a light on a movement that has been building community and creating allies since November 2011.

Speakers include:

– “Race to Peace” Invitation by Chelsea Cardinal – President Inner City Social Work U of MB
– “Becoming the Family Treaties Meant us to Be” Invitation from Dr. Mary E. LeMaître
– “Helper’s Menu aka How To Be An Ally” by Beth (Au Set Belly Dance)

Markus H – Bell Tower Family since November 2011, Markus willl speak about the impact these initiatives can have over a period of time. He is also active with Winnipeg’s theatre community, AYO Politix, Inter Civics Cafe & more.

Lenard M – Bell Tower Family since January 2015, he will speak about how being involved in MM@BT, Politix and other leadership initiatives are helping to bring ideas to better our community to life.

Al Jazeera International News Network will be in attendance documenting our work as apart of a larger project examining community response to the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Canada.
