AWASSIS WOONSKA-YOOK (Children’s Wake Up Call) GATHERING !

This is a call out from the children. We the children that walked across Manitoba for murdered and missing woman. A message was shared with them to call out to the people across the land. This is the time to gather. This is the time reconcile with each other in regards of the challenges that we are facing together.

WE The children are calling for all pipe carriers,gookums, mooshums, parents, youth, children, drummers, dancers, everyone from all four directions to come together at Memorial Park.

This gathering is for all families effected by Murdered and Missing People, Children in Foster Care, Residential school survivors.

The message the children that are gonna bring are to come together. This is the time. To pray and dance and speak and stand beside each other for the injustices that has come to light recently.

Volunteers have to be 16 years of age and older.  All volunteers are screened through interview, reference checks, police check, and training and are supported by our Community Coordinator and Intern.
